INTERESTS:

• Tom enjoys sharing he's from the land of cheese, trees and ocean breezes.  Born and raised in Tillamook, Oregon, he was the first in his family to attend college.

• Tom believes in making a difference in his community. Through his philanthropy, he is actively involved in Janus Youth Programs, the Portland State University Foundation and St Mary's Academy.  

• For his philanthropic work, Tom has received:  Janus Youth Programs Champions for Children, Portland State University Simon Benson Award for Alumni Achievement and the Presidential Medal and St. Mary's Academy Mother Marie-Rose Award.

• In his personal time, Tom enjoys traveling and golf, but his favorite activity is spending time with his wife Marilyn, three daughters and their families, and being Papa to four grandchildren.
